Class Description: Role of the Building Official
This class provides an overview of how management and customer service come together in collaboration with departments within the community environment and to the general public. This will provide discussion on personality types and how to recognize them to bring value to the role in which building departments play. Value to construction industry and public at large while still following the code of ethics and laws before us can be challenging and with this discussion hopefully you can learn how to be successful from both sides of the table. This class will have group sessions to explore and practice what has been learned.
